Cub Scouts is the largest section within Scouting, and caters for children aged between 8 and 10½ years of age. Cubs, like all the Scout Association sections, is co-educational, so can be boys or girls.

All groups in district have at least 1 Cub Pack, some have more. The young people now have a chance to expand thier knowledge of Scouting. They will go on camps under canvas and take part in adventurous activities. They have the chance to take part in larger District and County organised events and camps.

All Cubs will have the chance to work towards a large selection of activity and challenge badges. Some will be done as a group others they will do on thier own or even outside of scouting, such as martial arts.
